Chairman 2012-2013
Ron Walko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce, retired after 25 years at Jersey Shore State Bank. Ron served at President and CEO of Jersey Shore State Bank and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board. Prior to Jersey Shore State Bank, Ron served as the Subregional Chief National Bank Examiner, Training Examiner and Instructor for the Office of the Comptoller of the Currency.
Ron is currently affliated and serves on the following Lycoming Foundation (Board of Trustees, Executive Committee, Treasurer); Lycoming County SPCA (Board of Directors, Finance Committee, Treasurer); Industrial Properties Corporation (Board of Directors); and Leadership Lycoming (Board of Driectors). Ron previously served with these affiliations Pennsylvania College of Technology Foundation (Board of Trustees); Susquehanna Coucil, Boy Scouts of America (Executive Board of Directors); Lycoming County Industrial Development Authority (Board of Directors); Institute of Certified Bankers (Certified Lender Business Banking) and the Montoursville Band Parents Association (Assistant Treasurer).
In 2011, Ron received the Susquehanna Boy Scouts of America Distinguished Citizen of the Year Award.
Ron and his wife of 44+ years, Patricia reside in Montoursville and are the proud parents of two sons, Albert and Christopher. Ron and Patricia have four grandchildren: Nathan, Leah, Kaiti and Elliott.
