Canadians and Americans share the closest energy relationship in the world. Canada is the leading and most secure, reliable, and competitive energy supplier to the United States, including crude oil and refined petroleum products, natural gas, electricity and uranium. It is the number one oil supplier to the US. Canada also imports a significant amount of energy from the U.S., particularly electricity and natural gas.
Join Canadian Consul General John Prato to discuss how Pennsylvania companies, including those in Lycoming County, are benefiting from the growing Canada-US energy relationship and by doing so, increasing business and prosperity on both sides of the border.
Lycoming County has several companies with Canadian ties here doing business including LeClerc Foods, Precision Drilling, Trican, Newalta and AVEDA. Likewise we have several companies here doing business in Canada including Wirerope, Kelloggs, Hermance Machine, URS/Flint Energy, Anadarko, Range Resources, Panda Power Funds, Halliburton and Smith Jewelers.
