Flood Recovery - We Can Help

Friday, Sept. 9th

The Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce is concerned about your business and the impact the flooding has had on you, your employees and the community.  Therefore I am writing to ask you to let us know if your business has been impacted by the events of the past few days.  If you have suffered flood damage please email us at chamberfloodrecovery@williamsport.org or call us at 570-326-1971 and leave a message if you get our answering machine.   Please let us know what you may need, how we can help and the best way to contact you.
Because some businesses that were impacted may not be able to use their emails I am asking other businesses to let us know if you are aware of a business that has experienced flooding and may need assistance.

In addition, Chief Oil and Gas has generously donated $50,000 to the Chamber for use in flood recovery efforts here in Lycoming County. As a result, we are working with the Lycoming County Commissioners, the First Community Foundation and the Lycoming County United Way in setting up a fund to assist in the recovery efforts. If you would like to help in this effort by donating money for flood recovery, please email us at chamberfloodrecovery@williamsport.org and tells us how much you would like to donate and we will contact you next week and let you know where to send your contribution.

Finally, if you are in need of temporary office space for your business, the Chamber has some office space available that you can use at no cost.
I hope you and your families are safe and together we will get through this tragedy.

Regards,
Vince Matteo
