Education
 Lycoming County, Pennsylvania
is a wonderful and ideal location to raise a family. Our area has the some of
the most innovative and dedicated schools. From Kindergarten to 12th
grade students are offered numerous opportunities to better themselves everyday!
The Performance Standards
initiative in Lycoming and Sullivan County school districts identify clearly
what students should know and be able to perform at the primary, intermediate,
middle and high school levels. They are world-class standards that will
assure students are prepared for the world in which they will live.
Parents and teachers will have a clear picture of how well their children
understand and apply what they learn in school.
Below in Table 21 of the data tables, statistical information on education in
our area including student-teacher ratios, student enrollment and much more is
available. Table 9 gives statistical information on the vocational and
technical opportunities available in our area schools.
