Training

There are a number of workforce development and training opportunities and programs available such as Customized Job Training and Guaranteed Free Training Program. The Technology Transfer Center at Pennsylvania College of Technology, in Williamsport, is one of thirty colleges and universities throughout the Commonwealth able to offer Guaranteed Free Training through a $9 million dollar grant awarded by the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). There are opportunities for training from communication and teamwork to manufacturing fundamentals. With the technical and training support available in Lycoming County our workforce has the resources to adapt to shifts in business climates and the ability to learn new skills to be a part of today’s changing business world!
