Josh Trego comes with a background in both the private and public sectors.  Most recently, he was employed by the Glenn O. Hawbaker Company where he managed a $5,000,000 contract with PennDot. Prior to that, Mr. Trego worked in a variety of capacities for former United States Senator Rick Santorum in both the Senator’s Harrisburg and Washington D.C. offices. His most recent experience with Senator Santorum was in his capacity as Director of Community & Economic Development.

In his capacity as Williamsport Main Street Manager, Mr. Trego will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the Main Street committees and establishing a strong working relationship with merchants in the Main Street District as well as the Mayor’s Office and Williamsport City Council. 

Upon his selection, Mr. Trego stated:  “I am thrilled and honored to be Williamsport’s new Main Street Manager. The city of Williamsport is a beacon for all of North Central Pennsylvania and is experiencing tremendous change.  However, there is still plenty of work to be done.

I am excited to work closely with business owners, city officials, and community members to bring about positive developments for the good of Williamsport. Revitalization of our main street district will only continue to improve Williamsport and make it a better place in which to live, work, and play”.
